Come with us to the stunning Cotswolds village of Bourton-on-the-Water — a place that might be beautiful, but certainly isn’t cheap! We were floored to find a pint of lager costing nearly £8. Is this just the price of paradise, or are we being taken for a ride?

We stroll through the postcard streets, take in the local sights, and round things off with a visit to Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Brewery. Is the beer any good? Is it worth the hype? And has Bourton left us charmed or slightly ripped off?
