HOW WE USE OUR ECOFLOW DELTA 2 MAX
We installed our Ecoflow Delta 2 Max into our trusty campervan, St Christopher of Atlantis because we couldn’t get our heads around camper van electrics. No matter how many tutorials we looked at, it was just too much for our brains! The Ecoflow Delta 2 Max gave us everything we needed in one box which made it easy to continue with our campervan build. It was one less thing to worry about and made our campervan conversion much faster.
Since then we have lived off-grid in the UK and Europe and never ran out of electricity. We paired the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max with 2 100-watt solar panels and we have an abundance of power during the spring and summer months. We use it to run our coffee machine, and fridge, recharge all of our electronics and more.

WHAT ARE THE DRAWBACKS OF THE ECOFLOW DELTA 2 MAX?
Third, let’s consider the drawbacks of choosing the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max over other power stations. One of the main drawbacks is its price tag. At around £1899, it’s one of the most expensive portable power stations on the market. This may not be an issue if you’re willing to invest in a long-term solution for your campervan’s power needs, but it may be a dealbreaker for budget-conscious travelers or occasional campers. Another potential drawback is its weight and bulk. While the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max is more compact and portable than other high-capacity power stations, it still weighs 30 lbs and takes up valuable storage space in your campervan. If you’re short on space or plan to travel solo, you may prefer a lighter or smaller power station.
We have found some problems connecting to the app which is really annoying. We secure the unit into the van before our trip which makes it difficult to access the back. If you can access the whole unit then this won’t be a problem as you can get to each button and socket anyway. The button to connect to the app can become unresponsive so I have to get out of the van, open the back doors and let all of the cold air in. Not ideal!
